Cranial Adjustments

Cranial AdjustmentsLooking for answers when nothing else works?

Cranial adjustments or cranial meningeal release therapy is yet another distinguishing factor that makes Dr Coleman’s practice unique. This therapy is an osteopathic method that Dr Coleman learned in 1989. While in school his then girlfriend now wife, suffered with terrible migraine headaches for most of her adolescent and adult life.

She like many of his patients had seen multiple doctors including neurologist, orthopedic, family practice Drs, and several chiropractors. To no avail, her migraines and headaches continued to imprison her life until she was introduced and began having SOT cranial adjustments. This changed everything right away and the pain either disappeared completely or dramatically during the treatment, as is the case for a majority of Dr. Gil’s patients.

Adjustments to the spine have at best an indirect means to affect torsion on part the meningeal system. When a cranial fault is present, finding the right chiropractor will make all the difference in creating results.

Migraine Headache TreatmentConditions Cranial May Help
Clearing the meningeal system of dysfunction often provides life-changing benefits and freedom for people who suffer. Typically Dr Coleman’s patients who find benefit from cranial treatment have one or more of the following conditions: headaches, migraine, dizziness, bipolar disorder, Meniere’s disease, vertigo, ADD/ADHD, and learning disabilities.

How It Works
Cranial adjustments treat torsion of the protective coverings of the brain and spinal cord that often times become injured or damaged. The 22 bones in the human cranium are connected by joints that look like the union of a where a road and bridge join. These joints do in fact move but to a very small degree.

Since 90% of the nervous system is located within the brain itself, it stands to reason that evaluating the structure and function of the tissues in this region is of vital importance to human health.

The method Dr. Coleman uses was developed by osteopathic physician Dr. Major Bertrand DeJarnette who developed Sacral Occipital Technique.
